?? What is the silliest excuse you have given ??
*What is the*
* silliest excuse you have given?*
I have given many silly excuses to get away from situations.
The silliest being:
''My tyre got punctured''.
Also, if anybody says that my number was busy,
I don't confess,
I just say it may be network error.
I don't want to sound serious with my answer.
The real answer for this question would be serious
and emotional and I don't want to create such an impression.
This is the silliest excuse that I have given and that is because,
I don't want to be included in the list of serious people.
my friend prefer wearing full-sleeve shirts and trousers.
But when i ask my friend, why you are completely covered,
her excuse is:
''I wear to simply protect from mosquitoes.' '
This happened when I was in school.
Once I had not completed my English workbook
and my teacher was punishing students who had not completed.
As my turn was nearing,
I had to think of an alternative.
When he saw my incomplete workbook,
all I could manage to say was,
''Sir, I could not complete as my baby sister was born.''
One more
The silliest excuse I came up was when I was in school.
I was asked to do a dare act which my friends wanted.
It was a difficult one and I realised I couldn't do it.
I came up with a bandage in my hand
and said I had a severe injury.
Last year,
I joined a yoga class,
but was always on the lookout
for silly excuses to skip the class.
I gave an excuse to my instructor
that I was unwell and had thrown up thrice.
Trusting my words, she asked me to take rest.
The worst part of the tale was when she caught
me freaking out with my friends in a mall.
I have the bad habit of going late for work.
The silliest reason to escape embrassment was to say that,
I helped a dying puppy on the road and had to take
it to the nearest vet for immediate attention.
I felt extremely bad for coming up with a real lie.
Since then I have always been careful about
the kind of excuse I give to save myself.

MUMBAI or BOMBAY:ITS the BEST !!
B_O_M_B_A_Y
Bombay has no bombs and is a harbour not a bay.
Churchgate has neither a church nor a gate. It is a railway station.
There is no darkness in Andheri.
Lalbaag is neither red nor a garden.
No king ever stayed at Kings Circle.
Nor did Queen Victoria stay at Victoria Terminus.
Nor is there any princess at Princess Street.
Lower Parel is at the same level as Parel
There are no marines or sailors at Marine Lines.
The Mahalaxmi temple is at Haji Ali not at Mahalaxmi.
There are no pigs traded at Dukar bazaar.
Teen bati is a junction of 3 roads, not three lamps.
Trams used to terminate at Kings circle not Dadar*Tram Terminus (Dadar T.T.).
Breach Candy is not a sweetmeat market.
Safed Pool has the dirtiest and blackest water.
You cannot buy coal at Kolsa street.
There are no Iron smiths at Lohar chawl.
There are no pot makers at Kumbhar wada. Kumbhar = (Potmaker in Marathi )
Lokhandwala complex is not an Iron and steel market.
NAL bazaar does not sell taps
You will not find ladyfingers at Bhendi Bazaar. (bhendi = lady'sfinger in marathi)
Kalachowki does not have a black Police station.
Hanging Gardens are not suspended.
Mirchi Gully does not sell chillies.
Figs do not grow in Anjir Wadi, ( Anjir: FIG in Marathi )
Sitafals do not grow in Sitafal Wadi,( fruit similar to the jack fruit, sorry can't remember what excatly in english)
Jackfruits do not grow at Fanaswadi ( Fanas= Jackfruit in Marathi )
But it is true that you may get fleeced at Chor Bazaar!!!
(WADI* = ENCLAVE or a TOWN* in Marathi )
AMCHI MUMBAI
A City where everything is possible, especially the impossible.
Where lovers first love and then marry, Where there is place for every Tom, Dick and Harry
Where telephone bills make a person ill, Where a person cannot sleep without a pill.
Where carbon-dioxide is more than oxygen, Where the road is considered to be a dustbin,
Where college canteens are full and classes empty, Where Adam teasing is also making an entry,
Where a cycle reaches faster than a car, Where everyone thinks himself to be a star,
Where sky scrapers overlook the slum, Where houses collapse as the monsoon comes,
Where people first act and then think, Where there is more water in the pen than ink,
Where the roads see-saw in monsoon, Where the beggars become rich soon,
Where the roads are levelled when the minister arrives,
Where college admission means hard cash, Where cement is frequently mixed with ash.
This is Mumbai my dear, But don't fear, just cheer, come to Mumbai every year!

Belief Makes Everything Possible

BELIEF MAKES EVERYTHING POSSIBLE |
In order to succeed, you must first believe you can. The only thing that stands between you and what you want from life, is the will to try it and the faith to believe that it's possible. The only true limit to your realization of tomorrow will be your doubts of today. The moment you carry the conviction of belief, in that moment your dream will become reality. You can, if you think you can. |
